The film begins on a pirate ship where Jerry is Tom's slave, giving him fish to eat. Red Pirate Ron uses a slingshot to get them on the deck of the ship. A wave washes onto the deck of the ship hitting Tom and Jerry. Tom sees a map is now on the ship. After winning a battle to another pirate known as Blue Pirate Bob (Red Pirate Ron's brother), the ship is cursed forcing the survivors to find the treasure on a lifeboat. Using Jerry's head as a guide, they run into a giant rock chicken, and another pirate named Purple Pirate "Barnacle" Paul (who is Red Pirate Ron and Blue Pirate Bob's brother).
